You obviously misunderstood the OP's idea. He is suggesting that people run a race and then post their training leading up to that race. After their training is posted, other posters would have the opportunity to guess the time. After a day's worth of guesses (or so), the race runner could then post their actual time. Hopefully, that clears this up for you.
