Now it's too late to gain serious muscle mass before the cruise but it's not too late for a short term PUMP. So your best bet is to work out daily in the gym and shift heavy iron. Good luck.
It's not necessarily too late. Four weeks of heavy lifting, reduced running, and a good steroid protocol can put on a remarkable amount of muscle. I'm a runner at heart, and for the most part don't want to hear the shit that xfit guy has to say, but he's right when it comes to putting on muscle to look better. Lift big, eat big, and cut down on the cardio a bit, if you really want to get ripped. And do some steroids, too. They work. If you apply the same discipline to lifting that you do to running, you'll blow up in an incredibly short amount of time.
(As someone who wants to be a faster runner, I wouldn't do this. It'll only make you slower. But if you really want to get jacked, you can do it really fast- especially if you're an already-fit runner.)
