Scary Movie 4 was pretty awful
Got out of that one about 45 minutes into it. It was 45 minutes too late though.
Good God i can't believe no one has brought up...

Caligula (the Penthouse cut). I wanted to walkout of Good Will Hunting but I was in LA for the first time and didn't know where to go. I considered walking out during The Hobbit but fell asleep instead.
We saw your post the first time. Thanks for reminding us how unimpressed we were.
Funny. This was the first movie I thought of when I saw this subject. I didn't walk out but it was the movie where I saw the most other people walk out. By the dozens. It may have been most of the audience. Does no one read a review before they buy a ticket? I was closer to walking out of the 2004 Crash!I've never walked out of a movie but some that annoyed me severely were Dances with Wolves, AI, The Hulk (Ang Lee's), American Beauty, Patch Adams, Babel and I'm sure there are others I can't think of right now.

Crash, the 1996 Cronenberg film. My date requested that we leave just as what has since become known as the "wound-fvcking scene" was beginning. I was happy to go.
Yes, we'd read the reviews. The girl I went with actually chose the film based on them--she was intrigued and wanted to see if it was a provocative and interesting as some people said. In the end, she couldn't take it. I found it more boring than offensive or upsetting.

Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion
Indian in the cupboard
"Looking for Mr. Goodbar". Pointless and disturbing.
"1492: Conquest of Paradise". A Frenchman playing a Corsican, sailing from Spain, speaking English. Tom Selleck as King Ferdinand. Sigourney weaver as Queen Isabella. Poorly written to the point of laugh-inducing.
Possibly the worst movie ever made.

Rocky Horror...guess I wasn't gay enough.
Can't remember the name of it. It had a bunch of police waiting for the leading lady to walk into the trap set for her.
Yeah, I walked out of that one and won't make the mistake of trusting what a friend told me ever again.
Pulp Fiction
A Fish Called Wanda
The Color Purple
Oh yeah, saw that too, I'll let you know the name of it when I remember.
Tons of police in that one scene. So obvious and it couldn't possibly have been a coincidence so I felt the movie was unbelievable. Never going to see it again.
I remember some walking out during the wound sex but many during a rough sex scene with james spader and elias kotas. That seemed to push people over the edge. "Ok, I could tolerate the wound fvcking but the butt fvcking is too much!!!". I liked it but have never watched it again.

I never have and I never will.
Why on earth would you pay to see a movie in theaters if you aren't fully invested in watching it? That seems so idiotic. Waste of time and money.
Only go see movies you really want to see in theaters.

I really liked that movie. Never saw it it in the theatre, but have seen it about three times on cable. I don't like many movies, but that's a fun one to watch, so long as you are not expecting anything important or spectacular. It's a window into the lives and perspectives of simple people, with great hopes and significant personal limitations.
I did walk out of The Exorcist.
Can't believe this one is not up yet:
Rochelle, Rochelle the movie
For years, I've been going to movies with someone who'll never walk out of one, so except for an occasion or two when I was pissed at her, I never have.
But I can recall at least four that I wanted to walk out of ...two lame comedies, Monster-in-Law and RV, and Reservoir Dogs (yeah, slicing a guy's ear off, what brilliance) and the remake of Cape Fear (yeah, eating a woman' face off, what subtlety and nuance).
