What movies have you walked out of? I can only recall one...this movie called Ultraviolet a few years back. It was just nauseating to watch and I almost fell asleep. We ended exchanging our tickets for another movie - "Dave Chappelle's Block Party" which was a lot more entertaining...

The wife wanted to see that. We went with her family, to one of those theaters where you sit in your own recliner and order dinner and drinks. It was fun, except all through the menu perusal, ordering, and previews, I had this slightly dark, brooding feeling that I could only identify when I remembered the movie we were about to see.

Walked out of Closer after about 30 minutes (wife couldn't take it)
Walked out of 8mm after 15 minutes.
Fell asleep during at least a dozen movies in the theater.
Caligula (the Penthouse cut). I wanted to walkout of Good Will Hunting but I was in LA for the first time and didn't know where to go. I considered walking out during The Hobbit but fell asleep instead.
A movie called Safe back in the 90s. It had the feel of a propaganda film by the Center for Disease Control.
I've turned off some movies at home but that is the only theater I've ever walked out of.

Wife and I walked out of 8mm as well. Thinking back, I have no idea why we would have chosen to see that. It was pre-kids, so sometime we just went to the theater and picked a movie.
Only other one we ever left was A History of Violence (another David Cronenberg film). It wasn't the movie, per se, as much as the scene where his wife puts on the old cheerleading outfit and they have sex. It was extremely cheesy and we started laughing and decided to see Brokeback Mountain instead. Another fun sex scene in that one as well... ;)
