This is going to be an unusual Nationals, because there are so many very good foreigners who will not have anything to do with the team race. What matters is less where Hurysz finishes in absolute terms, and more where he finishes in relation to the number 1 guys from Ok St, Stanford, Iona, and Wisco.

I follow Hursyz. He got like 60 something place last year. My guess is thats too big of a jump in one year to hit the top ten especially as someone mentioned the foreigners are really deep this year.However for what its worth the time he ran at the Rocky mountain Shoot out is consistent with other guys who went on to have top ten finishes
He made a HUGE jump this past track season from a 14:17 indoor PR @ UNC in 2011 to a 13:38 PR @ CO after transferring this past January. Definitely feasible for him to make a large jump. Top 10 will be difficult, but definitely possible for top 15-20.

He should finish between 6-12 and has a good chance to be the top American finisher.
