I know the protest period is over, so this is probably a mute point, but in the Southeast Region, Duke beats George Mason by 1 point. They also had a runner beat a VCU runner by .01 seconds. With chip times rarely being that accurate, it is possible that the VCU kid beat Thompson of Duke. In this case, Duke would have then tied George Mason for 5th. Would this have pushed George Mason into the Big Dance or would GMU have blocked Duke from going, giving Washington the last spot?
