It looks like Wisconsin would have been 4th with Mo and Connor today. They are good Big Ten winner but not a national champ team.

Reed Connor finished 18th running unattached. If he had run with the jersey, he'd have finished 17th. Counting his score would put it at:
Wisconsin 333
Michigan 342
Indiana 466
Notre Dame 619
Not a good day for the Badgers, obviously, for Michigan to be that close. Brill died in the last 3K and didn't end up scoring for the Badgers. Finnerty and Hatz were OK for the first real CC races of their careers.
16 980 Elliot Krause UW-Unattached
18 1008 Reed Connor SR unattached
35 979 Tim Nelson SR UW-Stout
83 981 Brian Leung UW-Unattached
They have made the dance every year for 40 straight seasons and Mick won't take that lightly. They obviously have no choice but to run Mo and Connor this year to make it.
Brill had a bad race. He should have at least been ahead of Brice and up near Hatz.
Next year could be very interesting though. Unless a bunch of guys step up or they bring in some studs recruiting wise, then one of the most impressive NCAA qualifying streaks of any sport could end.
They should have offered Nelson some $ for one season to help pad their depth.
Yes, but Shields has some serious problem and is not running this year and another guy turned up with a stress fracture this week, I think. And with a full track and field program with guys taking second at NCAA in the Hept (and only because the winner destroyed the Hept 1000m World best), enough guys to win the Big Tens even with only modest help from the distance front compared to past years they only have so many scholarships to give.

Check again.
can Wisco come back?
+4 for being right about Ok State.
- 60 for being wrong about Wisconsin. They still would've been 2nd at regionals without Ahmed, to qualify, and would've been top 10 at nationals without him, too.
