Weber state's coach, maybe?
Weber state's coach, maybe?
maybe you should check facts. Weber State was 29th last year at the NCAA meet and return everyone from that team. Others in the region suffered major graduation losses, or are redshirting athletes. So maybe people doing these things know what they are doing...............and webers coach does not to the ranking.
Everyone does understand that its a PRESEASON poll which is done before anyone competes. Therefore, it is almost meaningless.
You would be better served not worrying about women's mountain regions (they are not sex objects) and focusing on your running.
The top 4 teams in the regioun from last year were New Mexico, Colorado, Weber, and BYU in that order.
New Mexico graduated 4 of their top 5. Colorado and BYU both graduated 2 of their top 5. Weber lost no one in their top 7.
It's not unrealistic for them to be ranked #1. I think you could also make a good argument for Colorado to be #1.
Also, Weber's coach does not do the women's poll.
