Just in time to mess him up before London?
Just in time to mess him up before London?
I never had anything to do with Kenenisa's training, apart the program I prepared for Imane Merga that arrived to Kenenisa through his management. The fact he could have that program last year in June, when he started training again, doesn't mean he followed the program itself, also because at that time Imane was in shape and Kenenisa was at the beginning of his preparation. Sometime, from a small and normal situation, rumors go to build something not true, after some time becoming the truth, for the diffusion there is today through the media. That's the reason because it's better to go to the primary source, everytime we want to comment something we suppose to know, but really don't know.

Do you have, or have you ever considered setting up a private internet group/forum where those people who want to learn more in depth about the nuances of your methodologies can do so whilst engaging in constructive debate?
For example, I currently have a series of questions about the balance of intensive anaerobic to aerobic work when attempting a second season's peak for a 1500m runner....and just how to sequence specific and support sessions....(having just failed to make an effective transition from a 3:42 run earlier in the season)...
A group/forum like this of course would not affect your ability to continue posting here...
The administration of such a forum and other details regarding moderation etc could easily be done by a.n.other allowing you to freely engage...
Please do consider this....
Sincerely
Old Scottie

When did coach Canova take over the training of KB??!!
Given this quote under the bio of Canova on the ADP website and that Canova's just said that this is not true.... I seriously have to wonder how close Canova really is with ADP and Simmons, and how much ADP is just leveraging Canova's name while Simmons trains the athletes.
Scott was present when I gave Imane's program to Jos Hermens, for sending to Kenenisa. So, it was not a lie, simply it was a misunderstanding, since after this fact (it happened last year in Eugene at the beginning of June) we were together for about two weeks in Colorado Springs, and never had the opportunity to speak again about this issue.
I'm in touch with Scott every week, we prepar together the plan for the athletes of ADP, but of course I can only answer to Scott's questions, because in many cases I don't know who the athletes are.
It's our goal to implement the project, but this year was for me very difficult to have time to follow the situation directly, being always busy with the athletes preparing OG (somebody with good results, somebody with some problem, and in this case we have to use still more time).
