As a couple others have suggested, address the issue of track races. Why not run a few more of them? One would think a 10k or a 5k would be good for both training and competitive sharpening as the Olympics approached. With exposure high right now, it also wouldn't have hurt his own marketing awareness, not to mention added some interest to the track side of distance running. Are there sponsorship or financial reasons why he can't or won't do this?
Start out with...
You know god doesn't exist right?
Since your coach (God) knows all has he given you any insight on who will medal in London?
I've heard him say once that his favorite food is stuffing. Can you ask him what some of his other favorite "carbo loading" foods are? -- and one of his favorite dessert/junk food treats
What do you think of our message boards?
Why didn't God want Sara on the Olympic team?
What kind of fitness have his workouts indicated he is in?
Any non marathon distance races and weekly schedule/workout structure.
Tell him we understand that the desire to front run comes from his clean character and sportsman or Christian attitudes, but there are those of us who would love to see him run Ethiopian style and tuck in behind the leaders to save himself for the final miles of a marathon. Any chance he'll try a different strategy?
Have you considered letting God coach you through a human intermediary as he does for most of the runners who beat you on any given day.
Why are you running NYC when you have had a foot problem trying to train for London. Seems to me it can lead to longer problems which will keep you out of future marathons.
You talk frequently about running track races and every year you skip them, yet you are now five years away from your HM pr of 59:43 and four years from your non wind-aided marathon pr of 2:06:17. Do you think that there is a reason why you ran your best races right after years of track work? Wouldn't a serious track campaign, not one or two races, provide you the speed necessary to go with the inevitable Kenyan/Ethiopian midrace surges?
Ryan, how does Redding, CA compare to other places (Mammoth, Flagstaff, Palo Alto) for training?
Does he like made pancakes?

You will most assuredly and publically thank God if you medal in London. In the interest of logic and congruity, will you publically blame God if you deliver a sub-par performance? Thank you.
Thank you. POTT (post of the thread).
Yes, Brojo's have the balls to ask him to can the religion in his interviews and say something appreciative of those in real life that have helped him.

Just a generation ago, over 90% of Americans "believed in God", now you are considered a kook if you do! Question: Ryan, how do you deal with the haters? And how bad did you feel when Sara didn't get top 3 at the Trials? Lastly, how do you not scoff out loud at those who believe Earth was formed from some primordial ooze of malt & barley?
Even better: Were you disappointed in God for not making the runners in front of Sara slower so she could make the OT?
That should be "Does he like home made pancakes or home made Belgian Waffles topped with butter and strawberries and Tahitian vanilla ice cream?"
Can you tell us a story about a race when everyone counted you out, and then you DROPPED THE HAMMER on the Jabronis and proved everyone wrong?
I have the same questions as others out there such as,
1. Your film project, how come we don't get daily/weekly updates?
2. Is it wise to run a hilly course like NYC when you have PF?
3. The MOST important question of all....will you continue the "platinum blonde hair?" OR surprise us with a different color in London? You know, maybe--red/blonde/and blue? Just asking.
