With regionals occuring this week how do we see them infolding in regards to tactics and winning times etc. Also who do we see advancing NCAA championships in each event.

The top 12 in each event from each region advances to Nationals expect alot of Oregon women to advance to Nationals :)
Oregon women are too good for the west regional only, so some of them will advance from the east.
Looking forward to east meet. Possibly the biggest meet ever in Florida.
Huge new shopping center across from track.
I dont know who thought having the regional in Florida was a good idea but they should be fired. The 5k and 10k is going to be a massacre for any athlete from the north. Average high temperature is 89 degrees this time of year in Jacksonville. When you've been training in 85 degree heat it doesn't really bother you but for the runners going down there for the first time after training all outdoor in 30-60 degree weather for the most part...it's going to be brutal.
no matter what format, no matter where it is run, there will always be complainers.
any school from the north was free to bid, but no one wants or can handle that monsterosity of a meet.
Yeah i feel for the 5 and 10 K ladies going to Florida from say cold whether places like Kansas,Maine,, and the north east colder places like that. Should be 2 great meets are the east and west regionals on T.V. anywhere say flotrack or runnerspace? they better be.
Yeah, and Austin is any better?
The same is true for the West Region as it's in Austin.
But this is racing and you have to be able to adjust to conditions. Last year it was in Eugene and it was cold (by southern standards) and rainy the entire time. Distance runners loved it, but our power/speed athletes (and coaches) complained the entire time. For power/speed events it is much harder to get warmed up and the risk of injury goes way up.... someone will always complain.
Is there going to be a live feed for each of these meets? Specifically the east regional. I'm trying to watch my teammates compete

WTF are you talking about? Have you ever been to KS before? Midwest runners are some of the toughest around because of the weather extremes (high/low). You won't find a Midwest runner complaining about the heat...
In 2011, Kansas had an August day measuring 107 degrees and a -12 degree day in February.
What you say is true the performances do suffer for the sprints in cold conditions but at least its the same for everyone. It's definitely not the same for everyone in hot conditions. Distance runners who have trained down there for the entire outdoor season have acclimated to it and will perform better than anyone who hasn't. Regionals should be in the north so its an even playing field for everyone. People would mindlessly complain though so somewhere in the middle would have to work. We are not going to make everyone happy its true but we can at least make it fair. Austin and Jacksonville are not fair places.
put NCAA's back in Buffalo!! (like is 1998). That's the best place for the East regional as well.
I'll come out and say it wrote:

Let me call the wambulance for you real quick
The EAST region is by far the more competitive region. In almost every event, the last time in for each race was faster than the west....
I hope flotrack or runnerspace will have a livestream. But of course that would make too much sense to do.

I'll come out and say you are a moron. By the time the 5K and 10K goes off it will be 9 PM. I have news for you, it won't be 85 degrees at 9 PM. Also, tell how much you enjoyed getting nailed by tornadoes in Indiana last year?
So you're discrediting the other persons post (which had good facts and info) by saying it will be 84 degrees or under at 9. Which by the way is not when the 5k starts. I do not think I need to say anymore.
P.S. It is 80 degrees out at 11:45 pm tonight here in Jacksonville.
