Proof? Names? Don't just post stuff like this. And the NCAA doesn't really investigate normally. You just fill out the online forms and you're good to go, or at least that's how it was for me.
For example there is an Australian in texas who I know has taken thousands in road racing and was sponsored.

You can accept prize money, just not in amounts greater than cost of travel, and you can itemize it to show it went towards training (shoes, physio). NCAA just needs to see receipts. Anything more needs to be paid back and you have eligibility.

That the same girl who ran at Wake Forest and University of Florida? How is she still competing in the NCAA, she graduated high school in 2007.
Get your facts right...she never actually ran for U of F or WFU...she stayed in Aus and road raced instead....if you don't enrol in f/t studies then you can enter the NCAA later. I hear she's at UNT.
