The Ohio State women's track and field team won their second consecutive big ten outdoor title. I would like to point out the no points were scored in any event from the 800-10k. In no way am I saying that the osu women did not earn that win fair and square. The sprints, jumps, and field events clearly did their part to carry the team. It has been a common trend for the past two years that members of the women's distance team have failed to score one single point at the outdoor big ten championships. I believe the current distance coach is Chris Neal, he came on the scene in 2008-2009? He seemed to help the program by qualifying the women's cross country team to their first ever national meet. After that things seemed to go downhill. I've hear from an inside source that he may be on his way out?
