I have been sick since Sat with the stomach flu and starting to feel a little better but I am worried about how much it will or could set me back. I tried running today and was only able to get 4 miles in. I know that throwing up has got me weak and even though I'm done my stomach still feels weak.
What Im wondering is how far back do you think it will set me back only running 1/2 to 1/3 my normal distance this week. I don't think I can do any speed work this week and track starts in about 3 weeks. I haven't had the stomach flu since I was 7 and don't really know what to expect.
