I will soon be purchasing a new pair of trainers for track season. I'm pretty much a Brooks guy..been using the Ghost and The Adrenaline for a while now, liked both of them a lot. I'm thinking about trying something new though. Has anyone tried the new Nike's or Asics?

Or try out a bunch of different ones, and see what works for you. Rather than going to a "good" running store.
Oops, you're right. What was I thinking. As far as the equipment you should use for something you are passionate about it makes far more sense to choose randomly and/or use anonymous (possibly trollish) internet opinions rather than seek an actual person who might be able to give you really good advice and keep you healthy.
Doesnt going to a "good" running store, in essence allow you to try out all these kicks?
The ghost is a neutral shoe and adrenaline is a stability shoe. You need to stick with one or the other depending on how much your pronating. If you were fine with the ghost I wouldnt see a problem with sticking with a neutral cushioned shoe. But it is impossible to see what you actually need unless looking at your feet and gait cycle. So I would go to the closet running store and have them analyze your feet and determine the best type of shoe for you.
