For those who are saying that Africans dominate because they're all on drugs, today's Boston performance gives at least one strike against that argument. The drug of choice, EPO, supposedly thickens one's blood, thus making it dangerous to race a marathon in hot (ie dehydrating) conditions. I've read on this board before that runners on EPO refuse to race if the temp. is going to be above 60F. Well, it was 80F in Boston today and the Kenyans dominated like they always do, so their bashers will have to slightly alter their conspiracy theory as to why African runners are superior by cheating.
