yes,Brian Diemer has built Calvin into a dominating
force, winning many conference titles in a row, as well as many regional titles plus some national titles. He could coach at a higher NCAA level but opts to stay local here in West Michigan and support the local running scene here.

Courtney Babcock at Montana was a multiple NCAA All-American for Michigan, Olympian, and Canadian record holder.
Former Harvard XC coach Frank Haggerty was NCAA qualifer in the 440yd hurdles when he competed at Harvard in the 1960's. He coached from 1975 to 2006. Story has it that he would have competed in the Olympics had he not broken his ankle when he stepped on a typewriting case just before the Trials.
