You're not really looking for an answer, and as a consequence. HOWEVER, Christians tend to pray that "God's will be done." That does not automatically mean that a sick person will be healed. It means that God's plan would be revealed. In some ways it is more a prayer of inner-reflection reminding ourselves that God IS in control and his will SHALL be done.
This statement, "You're not really looking for an answer", is false. As a consequence, you are wrong. See how that works - say something that is false and you are wrong.
This statement, " this will go right over your head", is also false. Again you are wrong. Now why would you want to be so blatantly wrong? Especially as God is all about truth!
Most "Christians" that I know of pray for certain things to happen. As I pointed out, this does not seem to make any sense. Now they may also pray as a sort of inner-reflection at times, but that does not negate the fact that when things aren't going "right" (in their book), they pray for divine intervention. Of course you do have the option of simply denying that they are "real" Christians. But then, the question of who really is a Christian becomes a very tricky one. I prefer to either take folks at their word on this one or throw the whole thing out.
My legitimate question stands. And your answer, while reasonable in substance probably, would have been better off without starting with two blatantly false and ignorant declarations.
