I'm looking to move down a "step" in weight from the DS trainer. Any suggestions? Should i go for more of a Wave Elixir-type shoe or like the Nike Lunar Trainer?

The Elixir has a pretty bad heel-forefoot offset (more than the DST I believe). The lunar trainer is quite bulky/inflexible.
How about the DS Racer or Lunaracer?
DS racers is a good choice. I have been wearing the ds trainer for years and thinking of switch to the racers for everyday because they messed up by making the trainer toebox wider. Right now I'm rotating the 2 with no problems.

Funny, I'm the opposite. Liked the DST 14 a lot except for the toebox which was too narrow for me, DST 15 fits a lot better there. I don't like the new heel fit though, kinda slippery for me.
Haven't tried that DS Racer yet but the Bandito was too narrow for me in the toebox. Is the new DS Racer any wider? Never understood why the discontinued the DS Racer to go with the Bandito and then bringing it back. Kinda like the REAL COKE/COKE CLASSIC thing.
