Thinking about trying out the Lunar Fly. Any reviews out there would be greatly appreciated.

Think of it as a softer, lighter Pegasus. Very cushy, but not responsive at all. The upper is awesome, reminds me of the Vomero, very plush. Weight can't be much more than 10 oz., but it's by means a minimalist shoe; you're pretty high off the ground, unless it compresses once you run some mileage in it.
I just bought these and really like them so far. Definitely a lightweight shoe with a comfortable upper and a well cushioned midsole (not too soft or firm). I could see the outsole wearing out pretty quickly, though. These are a great everyday trainer for me since I hate heavy shoes, but need some decent midsole cushioning.
I've had mine about 2 weeks and am absolutely loving them. I had been training in the Zoom Elites. They are very lightweight, and very responsive. A really great fitting upper. I had no problems with them right out of the box. No break in required. I had tried the Lunar Glide and I hated them. Way too bulky and too much shoe. A friend of mine has the Lunar Fly also and I know that he loves his as well. I've heard nothing but good things about them so far.
I've been wearing the Brooks Launch for about five or six months, and I really liked the Pegasus from 2000 and 2002, so I thought I would give the Lunar Fly a try. I didn't like them because, like another poster said, they're just not responsive at all. They feel like mush while running. The upper fit well enough. I didn't like the heel counter because it had a weird lump in it (around the collar it was firm...somewhat hard to describe), but the forefoot was nice.
I've tried on most of the Lunar series shoes, and I just don't see the appeal. They're all softer and higher than they have to be, and they just don't feel like shoes you'd run in. I don't know, maybe I'm in the minority.
The upper is very similar to the old Haywards, which is I love. They definitely have the best fit of any of the Lunar series that I've tried. I do agree that they're higher than I'd prefer, which is frustrating.
