Does anyone else have this problem? When I run with a group, my farts are honestly TERRIBLE to the point that half the fellows are literally gagging from the smell. Does anyone else have this problem with really smelly farts?

yes. no idea what to do about it though.
You are either slightly lactose intolerant or you have eaten lots of CHEAP MEAT.
Cheap meat guarantees methane production.
Do your farts make a noise, hot and bobbly? Both?

They're extremely audible, yes.
This is not a troll thread. I honestly rip a massive, loud, stinky fart every 15 minutes or so, no joke. I don't know of any "cheap meat" that I eat. I eat steak about once a week, and I eat FRESH boneless, skinless chicken breast almost daily.
I think it might be the fact that I drink about 3 cups of coffee a day.

Beans, onions, and discount meat will cause me to produce methane. They say that only about 20% of people are actually methane producers. I don't know whether or not to believe them.
a friend of mine was notorious for this at practice. turns out he was lactose intolerant the whole time. cut out milk and eggs from his diet and hasn't stunk it up since.
sounds like a good form of lactose intolerance.
in all seriousness tho, is there actually a problem with this mild form of lactose intolerance? i probably have it, but i drink a TON of milk and dont really want to give it up unless i dont have to...unless it makes me faster...
Sounds like running with you would be a breeze
so if i pay more for my meat i won't fart? what does the price of meat have to do with anything?

Take a "beano" pill about 1/2 hr before the run
Methane has no smell. And it is not the primary smell producer of farts. sulphur compounds are...although one of them is a thiol of methane, so...
But non-methane producers can have stinky farts, too.
I have a similar issue
The problem here is that your gas is passing to much crap on its way out. Eat a little more fiber to clean up your colon and do a better job of wiping your ass. Your shit is what stinks, not the farts; it is just the wind blowing over the dung pile.
i have the same problem and it seems to be related to caffeine. man, my shorts have a permanent fart scent - not good
if it's hot and "blobbly" then it means some liquid squirted into the pants (more embarrassing)
I was running outside today and farted when a person was passing next to me. He heard and look at my face so I tried to make a poker face.. but I felt so embarrassed inside.. I seriously need to fix this issue! It sounds funny but this issue is sort of serous to me lol
focus on eating a diet of good, healthy foods. Nothing processed. Meals should be at least 3 hours before runs. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. If you have to run closer just have like a granola bar and juice. You need to get yourself to empty the bowels before running. They key is a very high fiber dinner. For grains eat brown rice, oatmeal, or quinoa. Eat yogurt and/or drink kombucha daily. The bacteria will help your digestion. Try ginger to settle your stomach, maybe a couple pieces of candied ginger at the meal before your runs.
Just wear diapers during your runs to trap the stench. It worked for my gramps back in the Great War.
Take meldonium.
