I was reading through some stuff I found from Jack Daniels and I was interested in some comments he made about tempo running and breathing rhythm. He was basically saying not to train faster than a 2-2 breathing rhythm. I understood the 1-1 breathing rhythm to be 1 breath per 1 step. But wouldn't a 2-2 be the same thing 2 breaths per 2 steps is the same as 1-1. I must be mixing something up. Can anyone shed some light on this for me.
