So, for a variety of reasons (mostly irresponsibility in my early to mid 20s), my credit is f#$%ed. Mostly due to late payment on bills and a collection on a Capital One card I had.
I currently have a good job, don't have any debt, and don't have any credit cards (I don't think I can get any), and am now living well within my means, able to save a little money each month. What is the easiest and quickest way to improve my credit score and get back on the right track?
There are some credit cards (with a big-ass application fee and other annual fees) that claim to be designed to help you improve your credit. Are any of these cards (e.g. First Premier Bank) worth it?
Any help appreciated.
