If a guy is doing this commercial and show his wife as an ass or a pig, people would protest this commmercial. I am offended. Why aren't you?

imagine the size of the member on that donkey.
i'll bet that's what she likes.
Men are not a "protected" class. White men from the South also can be picked on without retribution.
But I am not offended either.
outrage? You sound like a jackass. Literally. Like in the commercial.
You are insecure, and have no sense of humor.
It's only a commercial, the TV has an ON/OFF button.
that commercial made me laugh, but I do see where the orginal poster is coming from. A classic case of reverse sexism, but nothing will happen, and it shouldn't either-us males have had it pretty sweet for a looooong time. Your right though-if that were a male talking about his elephant or cow of a wife there would be hell to pay.
I'm not offended by any means, but I do find it interesting to see what stereotypes or characterizations go over well in the media and which are off limits. For example, the stupid father/husband character is present in damn near every show that features a family. In shows like the Simpsons, Family Guy, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, etc, the man is always the dumbass who gets the whole family into trouble and the wife is always the level-headed one who warns against whatever plan the guy has constructed from the beginning. I don't see this as much in really recent shows, but in shows that have been on more than a couple of years, it seems like every father is a complete jackass.
So let's find a product-line that we can underwrite an offensive commercial for. There's no such thing as bad publicity.
What else is there to say?
The days of the Archie Bunkers are over thanks to the PC media.
I am not offended because the person on the sideline always mocks the person on the field.
Those who present themselves as perfect victims rarely do anything except point fingers.
So let the weak and perfect mock the strong and flawed. I personally would rather play ball.
yeah, what happened to all those shows in the 50s and 60s where the wife was made to be the airhead and the black people were just hired help or involved in menial jobs?
i miss those golden days of television.

You have a good point, but I never thought of it that way. I was just upset that the woman/mom never got to be funny.
Most guys, including myself, could care less about a donkey representing a man. We don't let the small/stupid stuff bother us. No offense taken, and I don't know why any would be.
