The steeplechase used to be one of my best events, but last year I came down with a horrible achilles injury that took me out for several months. I am back to full training now basically without pain, but I still occasionally experience minor aches in my previously hurt achilles. Anyway, as the outdoor season approaches I am torn between my desire the race the steeple again and fear of reinjuring my achilles. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks.
