What are your thoughts on some teams that will be up near the top in 2008? Any clear cut winner? Any additional thoughts?

Chico, Adams, western and the usual on the guys side. Baughs will be back and will win the indy. Chico as a team maybe third behind adams and western. Abliene you never know until they show up and blow people out or there fifth.
Mercyhurst....I heard they were getting some bomb ass people from Ireland. Straight Irish in that bitch now. They will be pwn nubes all year and for years to come.
Harding University will win nationals next year hands down. Artur Kern will be back for his 5th year, Kosgei the same, Cheryiot will be a 4th year senior, they ended up getting another freshmen from poland whos not great but still solid supposidly he ran 30xx for 10k back in the motherland. BUT the guy that will be Scott Bauhs and win nationals for the next 4 years is a guy by the name of Daniel Kirwa. I saw him run 23:30 at Memphis and beat the 2006 D1 National Champion at 1500m(vincent rono) by over 100 yards. It makes me sick that all this imported talent (3 kenyans 2 polanders) are going to take the title away from people like chico, grand valley etc. So to paint a picture for you all, Harding will have 4 guys in the top 15, their 5th if he runs to his supposid potential, 5 in the top 30
So this Kirwa guy will be a frosh next fall? Where is he now and who is paying for him to be in the US? Good luck in trying to beat Bauhs!
Watch out for Chris Hammer....that kid is sick nasty.
what is so special about running 23:30? That's good, but it doesn't put him head and shoulders above anybody, let alone Scotty Bauhs or the Abilene guy or the two kids from Adams or Koskei.
Well your right, there not going to mail him his gold medal before they even race. Sure theres a good chance he might not win, but i've seen him run and i say he does. His paperwork or somethin didn't go through to make him eligible for this past cross season. I think he'll be eligible for track so techincally hes a freshmen.
ACU men will win their 3rd title in a row.
I predict 4 in the top 10 and the 5th under 25.
It's @ Slippery Rock, so possibly 3 in top 10 and 4/5 in top 30 (depending upon race conditions).
It will not be a large margin of victory.
Lots of good competition expected next year.
ACU=African Christian University
Will Harding be that good? Who do they have? What are there PRS
GO WESTERN!!!
Koskei, DII NCAA champ 10k by outkicking Macias 28:02 guy, Kern-8:06-3k, 14:12 5k, Their other African was 16th at NCAA's this year, then the Kirwa guy... They'll be solid.
scott will win. chico getting third would be a dissapointment for them, they will be much stronger then they were this year and are better then they look on paper. they have a lot of depth and should expect to put 7 guys in the top 40 of the race with 5 in the top 20-25. adams and western will be there as well, but not acu.
Bryan Morseman is coming back to make a comeback from embarassing collegiate races to win nationals. You watch. If he's alone at mile one, he'll win. If there's any competition, he'll tank it.
Slippery Rock = Not a good place for Kenyans
ACU will run worse than they should.

and ACU will still win.
what team had two of the top 5 FR? oh yeah Colorado School of Mines--Ben Zwywicki and Aaron Swift. Clifton Oertli had a stress fracture I heard at nats, and something was wrong with whoever let Sean Cusick run at nationals, best case was he was actually there 10th guy. They will be top 5.
1:49.84 - 800m Freshmen National Record - Cooper Lutkenhaus (check this kick out!!)
