I just finished the book "Deep Survival" by Laurence Gonzales.
It is one of the best books I've ever read. I finished the book and my outlook on running and training has completely shifted.
I have never felt really deeply affected by a book until I read this. I reccomend reading it and giving it to someone else.
I really do not like running books like Once a Runner or others like that and found them sort of boring.
But this book although not specifically about running or training related to my running more than anything I have ever read.
