I've recently become more keenly aware of the feminization of society that has been occurring recently. For those of you who aren't aware of it, I'll state the problem matter-of-factly: MEN have lost their NUTS. Testosterone and masculinity are becoming seen as bruthish qualities, and males are becoming expected to act more like girls. So this provokes the question- is distance running effeminate? The activity produces a rail thin physique, probably decreases testosterone levels, isn't physically impressive, and isn't aggressive in any way. Compared to the other athletes on the track team- the sprinters- the distance squad definitely tends to have a lower-testosterone personality as a whole. So the conclusion that I come to is that distance running is least highly perceptible as an emasculate activity. I'm not saying that it doesn't have it's masculine qualities too, but I think you have to be intimately involved in the sport to appreciate those things. You can be running along at 6:00 pace with your 10 inch dick flopping around in your shorts and the cheerleaders will still think you're weird. Anyway... thoughts?
