I'm considering a study abroad program in Quito, Ecuador. However, the city I would be staying at will be at 9,350ft.
I'm aware that the mountains will make running difficult; I can deal with that. Does anyone know roughly at what altitude the benefits of altitude decline? Flagstaff is at 7,000ft, but I'm not sure how much higher you can go before you starting getting too much height. I don't really want to ruin my summer training, since that is the season when I can usually get in my most quality training.
