Well, now that #1 LSU lost just about anything is possible. It would take a few more losses but it could happen.
Right now we are staring at the BCS nightmare: Kansas vs West Virginia for the title! You see, the BCS only works when you have one team that is clearly the #1 and a couple more undefeated teams. When the standings are so muddled, like they are this year, the BCS doesn't work.

A very improbable, but not impossible scenario, which is unbelievable considering just how down everyone was on this team a mere three weeks ago. The computers are really starting to help USC. With their win over #6 ASU, USC should leapfrog ASU, Oregon, OU, and possibly Virginia Tech. If KU or WVU lose, they will drop like a rock. If OU beats KU or Missouri, USC leapfrogs the loser. If Va. Tech doesn't drop that far, then obviously they need to lose. LSU would have to fall far enough this week and then beat Georgia, and then you would have your scenario. I'm not betting on it.
