WTF? Teg and Solinsky 32:50 10K? Why the hell are these times so slow?

Teg ran a 10k?

Jerry beat some really good runners. Tegenkamp and Solinsky!?!?! Holy cow!! Look a bit further down the results and you'll see that he also beat Nick Winkel and Tony Escarsega. Those guys are no jokes! Coach Schumacher is in shape!!!

why didn't henry dennis run? he's in good shape, i bet he would have won the race had he toed the line.

That was Teg's body double. He does all the longer races for Teg because we all know he don't run no friggin' 10k.

Maybe they were just doing a tempo type run and cruised and let their coach win at the end...they were probably chuckling behind him!

I doubt it. I think they were running all out and Jerry beat them straight up. Mark my words, Jerry will be the next american to break 13:00 in the 5k.

Yes I have to admit I thought Schumacher was cooked and would never return to his old form, but he has taken some great scalps here. The course is brutal which explains the slow times.

You think so? He was able to beat a guy who ran right at 4 flat for his last mile to win the ncaa 5k and a guy who ran 8:10ish for 2 miles? Maybe you are right, but it seems unlikely to me.

i think his time is indicative that Teg did not run a 10k

he stopped about 10 meters from the finish and said "aint gonna get me to run no 10k" and just walked off, for some reason they gave him a time

Unfortunately winning this 10k didn't win Wisconsin the title this year. Maybe he should have run monday as well?

I'm sure Schumacher and Solinsky were pacing Teg to end all the idle speculation on Let's Run about how fast Teg can run a 10K. I would have bet $10 that Teg could beat 32:00, but I guess not.

Now that he has that monkey off his back, he can focus on the AR in the 5K.

Don't underestimate him, being able to train teg and solinsky means that schumacher knows their EVERY weakness, and clearly he used this to his advantage over 10km.

How can seemingly intelligent people here respond like Teg and Solinsky need to prove something in some local WI Turkey Trot?

Its Thanksgiving people, its about sharing some fun and relaxing with friends, taking an easy 10k and letting their coach grab the spotlight for a while.

i think teg let jerry win but anyone who has seen chris latly will know he is fat as shit right now....i think jerry might have beat him clean because he has to big of an ego to let jerry win. chris is probably 30lbs heavier then he was this summer.
