It looks as if it will (hopefully) end up being LSU vs Oregon in the BCS game!!!

LSU still has to win the SEC Championship...no easy task
oaklahoma will get to the BCS game
LSU beats LA Tech, then Ole Miss, then Arkansas.
They then lose to Georgia (Playing a basic home game in the Georgia Dome) for the SEC championship game.
BCS - Kansas beats the Ducks, and wins it all baby!!!!!
Do you write porn or something? It's "loses," NOT -- I repeat NOT -- "looses."
I found it even funnier that the Sooner fan above misspelled Oklahoma.
I like Oklahoma too, but I'd really like to see Missouri get a shot ultimately. That's as good a team as I've seen.

That sounds like a pretty reasonable prediction. But I think Oklahoma might replace Kansas in that equation. I kinda doubt Kansas is gonna beat the Sooners AND Mizzou. It could happen, but Oklahoma will probably win the Big XII and go on to beat the Ducks to win it all. So, I guess that's my official prediction. The Sooners will be the '08 Champs.
The Jayhawks have played one of the softest schedules in all of college football. Their opponents sport a combined record of 42-61, with only two teams even having winning records (barely). No way they win the BCS championship, let alone make an appearance.
It will be Oregon vs LSU provided neither lose anymore. Oregon has Dixon and that will keep them at least #2 in the human polls.

Yeah, the Jayhawks will have to beat Missouri (currently 9-1) on Nov 24th and probably Oklahoma (currently 9-1) on Dec 1st to get into the BCS title game. If they do that, the Jayhawks do deserve to play for the national championship.
LSU hasn\'t played any good teams this year. LSU is in the SEC which is as weak as the BIG10. I can\'t see LSU as a top 10 team. Hawaii is #1, Oregon #2...
You are a fu*king idiot!
If LSU and Ohio St hasn\'t played any good teams and the east coast press ranks them high again, what credibility is there in the polls. I see Hawaii as #1, Oregon #2, Boise State #3.
lsu better not get comfortable in that spot, they still have to stop a now hot mcfadden and arkansas, and then win a tough sec championship game.
if i was a betting man i would say oregon v b12 champ with winner going oregon. id take oregon over lsu as well. guess we'll find out.
I'm just as crazy about LSU as the next fan, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Great for the Tigers, but they really need to stay focused because I've watched at least 3 other games this year that they were only seconds from losing.
Arkansas is always tough for LSU and yes the SEC champs game IS a home game for Georgia; that will be a very tough game is LSU doesn't bring its A-game.
But to the individual who said LSU is weak and the SEC is a weak conference, I think you are either insane, has not watched one football game the whole year and just wanted to throw a random team in no. 1 like Hawaii, or smoking crack with one hand and typing with the other.
Name one team in the country who has been 6 of the top 20 teams in the country. Name one and I'll never say Go Tigers again.
Til then...Go Tigers.
The guy who said the SEC is one of the weakest conferences was just trying to get a rise out of people. It's one thing to say the SEC isn't the strongest conference, but to say they are weak is just an asinine thing to say.
Here's what will happen in all likelihood:
A). Oregon wins final two games and PAC10 title.
+
B). LSU loses to Georgia in the SEC title game.
+
C). Kansas loses to Oklahoma and/or Mizzou and the Sooners win the Big XII title.
=
D). Oregon vs. Oklahoma in BCS Bowl. Oklahoma wins a close one.
I like this set up and it's the one I would probably like to see the most if Missouri can't get there. But it's amazing to me that so many people have written off LSU because of their "narrow" victories. They have arguably played one of the toughest schedules in the nation, and they are seasoned. Much better to have some close games or even drop one early rather than go undefeated and untested against an easier schedule as Kansas has done and OSU had done. There's still a lot of football left to be played.
Check the most recent rankings. Oregon has played the toughest schedule, but LSU has played a difficult one as well. And look at their record against the top 30. Then look at Kansas, who hasn't even played a top 30 team yet. Laughable. Heck, I even think Missouri is a better team than either OU or KU right now.
Georgia is not "in" the SEC champ game yet. The standings are misleading. If Tennessee wins their last 2 games against Kentucky and Vandy, Tennessee wins the SEC East, not Georgia (since Tenn beat Georgia).
Of course, Tennessee beating both Kentucky and Vandy is a big "if." If the Tennessee team that played Georgia or Arky shows up, they'll win both games. If the Tennessee team that played Florida and Alabama shows up, they'll lose both games.
