I'd like to take this opportunity congratulate you Khalid for the courageous effort.
You got beat only by younger men whom in your prime you would have left in the dust. Great job.
thanks much again.

You are the jacked up one. He didn't DNF, and he put in a better effort than all but 3 guys today.
Your anonymity shouldn't lessen your respect for others...
jackass.
BTW, you don't know the reasons Khalid decided to come to live in America. Perhaps they're the same reasons that you're ancestors decided to move here, as well. His running ability doesn't take away his right to be a human, and it definitely doesn't mean he has to please schmucks like you.
Peace

Agreed. I had him pegged for 3rd spot today...he ran well today.
i honestly did not think he would finish. he suprised me and showed me what a truly great marathoner can do even when he is not in the greatest shape. i have much more respect for him now that i know he will finish a race even when he no longer has a chance of winning or even making the team.
yea, seriously. hats off to him. gritty effort in the race today. let us not forget that he accomplished one of the greatest (if not the greatest) marathon victory of all time versus haile and tergat. if ritz opts out, i believe khalid will proudly take the alternative spot.
