wow Purdue is absolutely horrible

Woods ran. He DNF'd; dropped somewhere between 5k and 6k. However, not sure why he dropped out. Any word? Even with OSU taking 3rd, it will be hard for them to make it to nationals. The Great Lakes could only send 3 teams.
GO GOPHERS!!!
Don't count on OSU's women getting any better while Karen Dennis is there. What a HUGE mistake making her head cc/track and field coach. Russ lasted quite a while, we in Ohio hope she doesn't last past this year as she is just a patheic excuse for a human being and coach. No HS coach would consider sending a decent athlete there.
She needs to go Mr. Smith!!! They won't do much better in track either so what are you waiting for??????

Maybe it did help them? :)
when does the warhurst bashing begin?
A letter writing, phone call, and e-mail campaign and should begin ASAP with regards to Karen Dennis's removal as the coach at OSU. There are some talented girls on the roster who have either absolutely quit on running or have been so poorly coached they don't even want to run anymore. Dysfunctional to say the least.
Hassan Mead is improving like you would not believe. This freshman could very well take down Withrow at NCAA championship.
What happened to Rombough? He won the year before...
So the Big 10 Network will televise the meet. Can someone tell me when this will be airing as it does not show up on the Schedule.
Warhurst should be bashed.
All of his guys talking about beating Wisconsin - ridiculous. Wisconsin has an unbelieveable amount of talent, but Michigan isn't that far behind!
i have a degree is results studying so i can help you. he lost by about 5 seconds. looks like he must have had just a terrible day. cant believe he lost be 5 seconds. that is a ton of time.
in case you didnt pick up on the sarcasm, what the heck do you mean what happened to him? he was just outside of winning the damn meet again. maybe doenst have quite the finishing kick.
yes, could someone at the meet provide more detail on the Ohio State women's team. thanks.
I have heard they will be airing footage from the meet tonight on "The Big Ten Tonight." That airs at 10pm Eastern time and will be replayed overnight. Hopefully they actually show quite a bit of the race and not just a few frames of the finishes.

Unfortunately, it's football season, all of the games were yesterday, and Ohio State is ranked #1. I'm guessing that there won't be much coverage.
Please, I beg you, do not tell me any of the OSU girls are on scholarship. And I hope their coach is just a volunteer coach, she cannot be getting paid for that mess.
I would put my HS girls team up against those waddlers anyday.
There are some talented girls on the team, but all have terrible attitudes. They are split into 2 groups and they all want to quit (though some are on substantial scholarship money). Many noticed the difference between the OSU mens and womens teams at the meet; thankfully they seperated the programs when Russ Rodgers finally was ousted. We have heard that Karen Dennis may be worse however. 330 points!
I doubt it's actually the Michigan runners talking trash on this message board. Probably just some rec runners who follow the team.
