how the heck does this image work? all i can see is counterclockwise
Seriously? All I see is clockwise! I think it's a hoax. You have got to be sh!tting me. That chick is turning clockwise!
clockwise for me. So everything I see is the opposite of everyone else? How is this different from the actual world?
At first, I saw the figure as turning counterclockwise, then an ad rolled down in front of it. After I closed out the ad, I could not for the life of me see it going any way other than clockwise for a few minutes.
Finally, I figured out how to stare only at the foot that's hopping up and down and with great concentration could get it to go in either direction. Definitely some kind of illusion that has to do with parts of the figure (such as the hair or the breast or the nose or the toes of the hopping foot) being in shadow at the exact moments the figure is pointing them either directly at the viewer or directly away. The viewer can see when the foot or some other body part is pointed to either the left or the right, but since those body parts that stick out are obscured when the figure is facing to the front or the rear, the brain has to fill in the gap of which direction it appears to be turning. My default view is clockwise, but if I focus enough, I can see it turning the other way.
i can make her turn whatever way i want, but then i'm left handed and use both sides of the brain, nice looking pair of tits though.
to make the dancers turn the other way to whatever you normally see it look at the shadow.
I see what you mean, Kinbote. CCW for me for at first. Then while I was reading the text, finishing up the "right brain" part, she switched. I've been able to reverse back to CCW and then CW again, but it's really difficult, and I have to focus on the feet or another part of the screen or best of all shut my eyes for a few seconds.
I thought my kids were messing with me as they can see both.. I can still only see counterclockwise.... guess I killed too many brain cells in college
video games train the brain enormously well, in fact old folks should play video games to offset senility.
If I look at it for awhile, then relax my eyes or look away briefly, it changes direction.
Don't know what that means.
I can get her to change direction, but every time I look away and then look back, she's going CCW.
hey if you only look at the outstretched leg you can make her pivot back and forth without describing a full circle.

Exactly. If I focus on the text on the left and glance at the women, she kicks left and right, but will not turn fully.
By default she always goes clock-wise, but I can make her turn immediately at will. Cool stuff.
That is really cool... If I stare at it going one direction then turn my eyes to the left and blink then it goes the other direction... Really cool... I love this kind of stuff... It really makes you wonder how people can see the same thing in so many different ways....
Say you see it counter clockwise. When the raised foot swings around from the left toward the front, and at the instant it crosses the shadow of the other leg, try to switch the image in your brain to envision the raised foot in the back, and now swinging around toward the front from the right. When it crosses again, do the mental image switch again, raised foot coming around the back from the left toward the front. If you can do that, you're obviously a candidate for the straightjacket (like me).
wow. weird shit. i had the hardest time getting her to go clockwise, eventually i did. I think it makes sense that I can almost only make i go ccw because math and science are where its at for me, and i dont give a shit about feelings

...and staring at this web page was the longest you've looked at a woman, eh?
I see it going both ways, but mostly clockwise. Are you sure they don't switch it on purpose?
Of course they don't switch it.
She will change directions at will.
This reminds me of a forwarded email I got...
"This is so funny that it will boggle your mind. And you will keep trying it at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot. But you can't!!!
1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction!!!
I told you so... And there is nothing you can do about it.
Make sure you pass this on to your friends.
They won't be able to do it either."
