He's probably going to do the World Championships, then do a 3k and a 5k in Europe, in the first half of September.
The meets he'll be aiming for are 2 months after that.
Is 3 races considered a lot now-a-days?

I like how Rupp "doesn't want to put pressure on his parents" financially. The kid has a full scholarship and more resources than any other collegiate running athlete. Please Galen!
Actually, he has to pay for his own trips to Europe for races (the US will pay the tab to Japan). But he also has to pay hourly rates to use anything at Nike, and he has to pay Salazar (even gas money if they both travel together to a meet or something). Otherwise, he loses his NCAA eligibility. This has all been outlined in other articles on him. His parents have re-martgaged their house, if i remember correctly, to pay for all of it.
