My deepest sympathies to to the familay of John Bruner who died Saturday morning. I was one standing just a few feet away as he fell. The feeling of helplessness of those next minutes has given way to anger over to what more could have been done. It is out rageous that it took and ambulance over 30 minutes to arrive on the scene . We heard sirens in the distance which could have been the lost ambulance. The EmT’s at the scene didn’t respond with supplemental oxygen for ten minutes and even though breathing seemed to be the main problem. I never saw a mask or tube on his mouth. The police were present with no sense of urgency and they had radios strapped to their shoulders.
Emergency personell failed to respond quickly and effectively.
