I'm having trouble enjoying running and staying motivated. I was totally diehard for about 3 years and after setback after setback I just don't know if I can do it anymore. I had to take about 3 months off (due to injury) and then once I started, I couldn't seem to find my previous form. Now, after about 5 months, I still haven't found it. Sure, I'm somewhat fit, but still nowhere near where I was last year.
With my long time off I got used to life without running, and after several months of crappy running, it's become hard to enjoy it anymore. What scares me is that I'm going to college to run on scholarship. Sure it's not a big school or anything, but still, they want me to run and I'm still paying money to run for them when other schools would probably be cheaper.
I just don't know what to do.
I know everyone here loves running and hates complainers like me, but if anyone has any advice, I'm open to it.
