Heavy use of sports drinks is more likely to cause cavities, due to their high sugar content.
receeding hair lines is something you should start to worry about...a dentist can fix the gums, but no one can fix the hair.

It's not real white sugar, it's high-fructose corn syrup. (And don't talk to me about molecules, it is NOT the same thing as real sugar, doesn't taste remotely the same.) Anyway, it seems half the energy drinks I see are sugar-free.
