I've been getting a minor case of shin splints since starting hill work. Any advice?
Heel walking. Walk on your heels with your toes pointed up as high as possible. Also be sure to keep your calfs stretched well.
Also try "towel crunches." Good for foot and ankle development-the source of all leg injuries.
Stretching is the most important exercise.
