I was diagnosed with lyme disease last night and started the antibiotics immediately. I was only 2 days into the symptoms. Will i be fine running wise as long as I maintain these antibiotics in the next 3 weeks?

Try to get at least 6-8 weeks of antibiotics. Two weeks isn't enough even if you know when a deer tick bit you recently. One of my best friends went incorrectly diagnosed for many years and lyme eventually disabled him before lyme was correctly identified. Several years of antibiotics have helped some, but he's still disabled. Because of my friend's experience, my wife and I figured out that my wife has lyme too -- she was near being disabled, but several years of antibiotics have allowed her to keep working. Fatigue and arthritis are two of the main problems with lyme. Neither my wife nor my friend know when they were bitten by deer ticks.
You Put the lyme in the Coke , you Nut, and Drink it all Up
What are you on? Twice I have caught Lyme disease in its very earliest stages (I live in Connecticut, where it all got started). The first time I was a kid, so I don't remember much, but the second time was only a couple years ago. The antibiotics I took (dioxycotin or something like that) caused me to be more susceptible to the sun, so I ran with a shirt on for three weeks, but that was the only effect it had on my running. If you caught it in its earliest stages, you should be fine--once you take the antibiotics you won't have to worry about any of the "disabilities" that are talked about above.
Right, if you discover right away that you were bitten, and hit it hard with antibiotics (not just 2 weeks), then you can kill it. It's when lyme goes undetected for months/years that it can be awful.
