So I spend most of my summer in Switzerland cause I'm half Swiss, and my dad said he'd sign me up for an 18k which is in the Alps. This 18k is 100% up hill absolutely no down hill. in mid-July. Now I'm looking for an awesome Mt. Sac time in Nov. so would this be good prep. The only thing I'm worried about is that I would have to run easy for a couple of weeks after the race so as not to get injured. Would this offset my training, or should I run it.
