I see these two terms used interchangeably. Is there a direct correlation? Or is there a slight difference?
The reason I ask is that my coach has us do tempo runs 3-4 miles at 15k-12k pace and we will also do Ant intervals at roughly 10-8k pace. Say 3 x 2mi or 4 x 2k.
Also, should you stop this kind of work late in the season as you shift to more anaerobic work?
I'm a 1500/3000 runner.
