Sounds like a good meet. Does anyone know any contact for this Heusden-Zolden meet? Would anyone want to do it?

Its one to think about. If he's not a member of a uka club then he can get away with it. But could there be a reason why he isn't a member of a club? He might know that all he'll get is a 3 month ban for missing a drugs test.
Is this even an argument? If I tested positive in running (not that its likely to happen although recently I'd have probably failed an ibuprofen test if there is one...) would the wise scribes of letstiddlywink.com start a hate campaign against me if I entered the national champs? I know we're supposed to be moving to a unified approach towards drugs and punishments but does that extend to banning someone from one sport if they are called out in another?
And its probably past his 3 month ban by now anyway!!
Yes Solihul is a week before the trials so 5k not ideal for athletes involved in that but u have to be a sub 14.10 athlete to get into the trials right? So for all the 14.10-14.40 men hoping to become sub 14.10 men they are denied what would previously be the best chance of the season.
No this isn't an argument. If you failed a tiddlywink test for EPO do you not think that the EPO you had been taking may give you a bit of advantage in a running race, an event which you train for? When it's a triathlete getting caught out there is an even clearer link to running so the punishment should be the same, of course his 3 month ban would be up but a 2 year one wouldn't.
try this
thought trials time was 14:20
He's not failed a test; he's just skipped 3 tests. The tests would have been carried out by UK Sport not the Triathlon Association. Therefore, any federation that uses UK sport to do its drug testing should implement a ban on an athlete that either fails a drugs test or receives a ban for not attending the tests.
If this isn't the case (and this is hypothetical) then Floyd Landis could turn up and run in the US National T and F champs even though he's doped up to the gills!
Split the difference, its 14.15
Only pointing out the fact that one of our top athletes didn't turn up for 3 drugs test and got a 2 year bad and banned from doing the Olympics. Cos he's not with an athletics club, all the triathlon federation gives him is 3month as thats there policy. The other thing is, there should be no excuse in missing a drugs test let alone 3. In my eyes, there is very little reason why you would miss a drugs test.
That web page doesn't work mate. Any others?
Emailed someone on Christophe.impens@cis.be if anyone else wants to try.
