Just listened to "Loveless" for awhile. It's real good. I heard that it was listed as the best album of the 90's somewhere. That doesn't sound too likely though.

That album is fantastic, and extremely influential.
Nothing in the 90's even comes close.
Shields basically started a new realm of music that was light years ahead of grunge.
Pitchfork named it best album of the '90s, I think, then demoted it to #2 behind OK Computer.
It is probably still my personal favorite album from the 90s. But then, I'm old.
SPIN named it the 22nd best album between 1985-2005, and Rolling Stone named it somewhere in the 200's for best albums all time.
