Average around 19-20 minutes or else my coach and me are doing something wrong and i am not working hard enough!
Thats what training 75-85 miles per week does for you- hard but worth the effort eh?

I raced a lot of different events, I liked them all. I got bored running the same events every week. I ran the 800 the most which I feel was my worst event but the 4X800 need a 4th man and I really liked running relays the most.
forgot to add thats for 5k road race/ xc

1/2 marathon--haven't race it a ton, but as of right now it is my favorite distance
69:08 marathon buildup race, was on 68:00 pace until the last 2 miles and the wheels came off
69:21 started super conservative
69:45 not taken too seriously
70:09 tactical race where I wasn't feeling too great--was dropped from the lead pack 3 times and rejoined twice--finished 3rd
71:13 can't remember much about this one

Last four races from last spring season. Didn't double up on 1600/3200 for the last three. Was running 10:10s early season, the 9:48 was the easiest race I ever ran. Coach had me peaking at the right time.

Other favorite is the half Marathon.
1:20.00, 1:20:46, 1:20:50, 1:20:55, 1:21:07
There is a fairly obvious mental barrier for those two distances as well.

5 mile and 8k are two completely different distances. 5 mile is 8040 metres.
I hope foe your sake you don't consider your 8k time to be your 5 mile PB.
