Asics Gel Magic Racer (I have had the same pair of these flats for 5 years now.....just a really great shoe....its been through all my hard workouts)
Spike:
Nike Zoom D (from 10 years ago......A great lightweight shoe (5.4-5.6)oz with removable spikes... It was lost when Nike turned to the Eldoret which wasn't close in comfort or weight, 6.6oz)
Trainer = original nike Skylon
Flat = original nike Mariah
Spike = forget the name but it was a Karhuu indoor spike with red glove leather... mmmmmmmmm
asics 2030
Tiger Jayhawk....boy does that show my age...lol.
Trainer: Brooks Hyperion, Mizuno Wave Rider (any model before the present Rider 6, which feels like a marshmellow)
Flat: Brooks Street Demon, NB 150 would be a contender if not for the disposable outsole.
The original Saucony Grid Swerve.
Trainer: Asics Gel Kayano VII/VIII
Flat: Asics Gel-Tiger
Spike: Nike Zoom Kennedy (Track)& Asics Corrido (XC)
Trainer - Nike Structure Triax
Flat - I don't like flats, but I guess the current Nike Streak is pretty nice.
Spike - Original Jasari or pink and black Eldoret
Trainer; Saucony Trigon responsive cushioning
Flat; Adidas Neftenga
Spike; Jasari
the black eldoret? all i remember are the white/pink and the red green colorways
I've had 26 pairs of Asics Cumulus, starting when they were the Galilleo
Trainer: Nike Air Span (I think- It was white/gray with pink and blue trim?) Very soft and comfy.
Racing flat: Nike Air Streak Light. Fit like a glove. TOday's Air Streak does not even compare.
Spike: Reebok World Prix Distance. Bought these my senior year of high school and loved them. Hexalite cushioning in the back- spike plate up front. Does anyone remember the Reebok World Prix advertisements- full page with all their athletes including Suzy Hamilton when she was with Reebok. Anyone got a copy of that they can post?
This topic has made me wonder- does anyone have a timeline of all the Nike running shoes that they have made? That would be a cool website!
BITD/ Nike Cortez/ Adidas Intervals/ 9.9's
well you are right, that white/pink had the black swoosh. It was shiny, and I am amazed by shiny objects.

Asics GT 2060. Im on my fifth pair and have resorted to womens versions in an equivalent size.
Worst shoe ever: GT 2070, what did they do wrong... or what did they not do wrong?
Never have been able to replace those ruby slippers.
Nike Pegasus, late 80s, early 90s
Asic Gel-Lyte- the blue and yellow version from about 4-5 years ago, felt almost like a track spike
The spike I like the best were from Nike, from around 84', they had a red swoosh on the inside of the foot and a blue swoosh on the outside, and the shoe was all white.
Racing flat was the Adidas marathon 80, weighed about 5 ounces, man could you fly in those babies.
Nike American Eagle
I loved 'em, they were the first really light pair of flats I'd ever owned and, once I retired 'em from races, they made a great pair of "slippers" for kicking around the house.
Trainer: 1st Nike Skylon (1990?), current Boston Classic
Racing Flat: Reebok Paris (1987)
Spike: Mizuno Distance (1991)
