What is the basic philosophy of both methods and how do they differ? I read once here that Ethiopian training (Geb's training) is much more relaxed than Kenyan training (on easy days that is). Any truth to that?

Can someone knowledgable please answer this?
In general, Ehtiopian training relies a bit more on volume than intensity. They do the usual long intervals, long run, tempo run, hill work every week, but the Kenyans seem to start off by doing a LOT of tempo work and then switching to a LOt of interval work later in their careers.
