It does look like he moved from MN to Georgia however...anyone out there know of this guy from those places?
Most of his results have his hometown as Atlanta GA or Duluth GA (not MN). So I am hoping he has never set foot inside Minnesota.
When I did the search one of the results that came up was the UPMC/Pittsburgh marathon from May 4, 2003.
Bib 630
William Jurena, Male, Age 51
1st half = 1:51:53 (8:32 pace)
2nd half = 1:07:34 (5:09 pace) (please, nobody mention epo)
chip time finish = 2:59:27
1st in age group, 61st overall
The current US mens 50-54 age group record for the half marathon is 1:09:30 (Norm Green, Philadelphia, 1984)
Hell, the record for the 45-49 age group is 1:08:05 (Bill Rogers, Kansas City, 1993 (I'm ignoring the assisted 1:07:14))
What ticks me off is that a race official has posted on this thread several times (USATF Pgh), yet 4 months later this cheater is still listed in the results on at least 2 web sites.
