Anyone know a conversion between your 1200m time and your 1500/mile time?
Thanks friends!

I would add 80 secs to get your mile time.
multiply by 1.28
Can vary a bit depending on your time. Do you run the mile in 5 min, 6 min, 4 min? Knowing that and a good estimate can be made.

I ran 3:22 for the 1200 this weekend. Last week I ran 4:45 in the 1600. I've also run 56(relay split) 2:08(800) and 10:05 (3200).
Of the times you wrote down, the 1200 is the best and it predicts a 4:36.6 1600, 4:17.7 1500, 9:52 3200 and 2:05.7 800 (the 56+ 400 also predicts about 2:05+ 800). These are based on a 3:22.00 1200.
I've never run a competitive 1200m.
I've run 54.6 relay/55.02 open for 400m, 2:02.5 for 800m (62.4/60.1 splits), 4:23 for 1600m, 8:58 for 3000m
Which is the best and what would it predict for 1200m?
3:12-13. Maybe 3:11 in a great race.
The year I ran 3:02, twice on the DMR, I also ran the mile in 4:10 and the 880 in 1:53....they all seem about 'even'.
In HS i ran a 3:12 in the 1200 in the DMR then next week ran a 4:23 in the 1600. So those conversions sound pretty good.
The 4:23 is best and it predicts 1:59.5/8:45/3:12.45
Off your mile I get 800 of 1:53.04 and 1200 of 3:01.96

Dr Daniels, you were right on the money. DMR Guy ran 4:36.9 in the 1600 and doubled back with 2:05.8 in the 800 at our dual meet today.
Very good running, especially considering the 800 was a second event for the day. Naturally, weather can affect things outdoors, so predictions need to be for similar conditions.
I think it varies quite a bit person to person. I've heard of guys run 2:52 but "only" run 4:01, but then I've heard of guys run 2:58 and also run in the 4:02 range. It really matters on whether you're more of a speed guy or an endurance guy. I ran a 3:06 about a week out from a 4:14 full mile...
Add anywhere from 63-83 seconds to convert to mile, or about 45-66 for 1500.

not really....your spread is the same as this guys:

Maybe my formula isn't so good -- your 4:14 predicts a 3:04.8 (or maybe you let up a little at the end of that 1200).
Ran 3:05 and 4:18 full mile
Here's a middle distance conversion chart JK emailed me a few years ago. The top line didn't format well for this screen, but you'll figure it out.
It's based on adult times. I coach high school and JK said high school or younger guys might be a little better at the 800 and not quite as strong in the longer distances yet. So maybe add a second or two when converting from the 1,200 to the 1,500 or mile if you're young or if you don't have much running experience.
